I know that feeling. Coco my Shepherd/Rotti mix, had TPLO surgery, and then when we went for her 6 week check, we discovered that she had managed to snap all the screws, even though she was confined to a cage except for when she went to do her business, but she is totally nuts and we just couldn't keep her still and quiet. we are now nearly 4 weeks in to the 2nd operation on the same leg. She has been kept sedated pretty much all of that time, and this time she is walking well on the leg, and we are pretty sure that all is going well.
